[Tech] L'ultima variante del virus Netsky attacca i servizi di file-trading

L'ultima variante del worm virus Netsky sta attaccando alcuni network e servizi di file-trading sul Web, fra cui Kazaa e eDonkey, e alcuni siti Web che distribuiscono tools per bypassare le protezioni di alcuni software.

Sharman Networks, owner and distributor of Kazaa software, said in a statement that the attack had "no disruptive effect" on its site.



But Jed McCaleb, lead programmer for eDonkey file-sharing software, said the worm temporarily knocked out the company's two main Web sites. A third site run by the company remained up and all were working late yesterday.

Questa variante del worm è la diciannovesima dalla prima apparizione del virus (Febbraio 2004); una ventesima versione di Netsky, secondo gli analisti, dovrebbe attivarsi sul Web nel periodo compreso fra il 14 e il 23 aprile.
