[Tech] Israele: presto caselle di posta elettronica da 1 GB

Uno dei principali portali israeliani, Walla, entro due mesi renderà disponibile un servizio di free e-mail con caselle postali da 1GB; il servizio comprende protezioni anti-virus e anti-spam, e a differenza di Google GMail non effettuerà nessuna incursione nella privacy degli utenti (o almeno, non più degli altri servizi come Yahoo! Mail, Hotmail etc.):

Walla said in a statement the new service, which included anti-spam and anti-virus protection, would be publicly available in two months. Walla said it was the first company in the world to provide e-mail with such large capacity.



The statement declined to give details about investment in the new project.



It said the expanded e-mailboxes would not be financed by consumers, but primarily through advertising.



"This goes against today's prevailing trend whereby companies seek to increase their average revenues per user through value added services to end users," the statement said.
