[Tech] Office 2004 per Mac OS X

Microsoft da ieri distribuisce la sua seconda versione della suite Office pensata espressamente per l'ambiente Macintosh, MS Office 2004 for Mac:

The new version of Office, targeted at business users, adds several new features from the Windows versions of Office but also includes some tools unique to the Mac version.



The e-mail program included in Office for Mac, called Entourage, borrows a new layout from the Windows version of Office as well as a document reading mode for the Word document program.



Microsoft, the world's largest software maker, dominates the PC industry with its Windows operating system software but also develops applications for the Macintosh.



Microsoft's Office 2004 for Mac, the latest version, is the second release of the word-processing, e-mail, spreadsheet and productivity suite of software for Apple's current operating system, called OS X.



Unique to Office for Mac is a new tool to track projects and related information and a presentation mode for PowerPoint that allows presenters to read notes and preview slides on a separate monitor.
