[Tech] Dal 24/7 gli iPod mini anche in Italia

Apple ha annunciato che distribuirà gli iPod Mini anche fuori dal territorio USA a partire dal 24 Luglio.

In March, the company said it would delay the international launch of the player due to stronger-than-expected U.S. demand and tight supplies of the hard drive, which is at the core of the player.



Apple had originally planned to start worldwide shipping in April. Earlier this year, the company said it had 100,000 preorders for the iPod mini, a smaller version of the popular iPod player that is about the length and width of a business card and holds about 1,000 songs.



The company, best known for its Macintosh (news - web sites) computers, has found huge success in digital music. Apple has sold more than 3 million iPods and has a 50-percent market share of digital music players.



Its iTunes online music service is the most popular legal music download sites, claiming 70 percent of all songs bought online.

Il prezzo "internazionale" degli iPod Mini sarà di $249: in Italia il prezzo sarà, pare, di €279 (IVA compresa); l'iPod Mini è stato inserito da Apple nell'elenco dei prodotti "educational" e potrà quindi essere acquistato dagli studenti a un prezzo leggermente ridotto: €256,80 (IVA compresa).



Nel prezzo è compresa purtroppo anche l'indegna tassa sul macinato - (im)pudicamente definita "imposta sul copyright" - di €7,74 che colpisce gli utenti di lettori MP3.



Ricordo che gli sconti "educational" si applicano anche alle varie versioni del fratello maggiore, l'originario iPod da 15, 20 e 40GB.
