[Tech] Rintracciata dall'FBI la probabile origine del virus Sobig.F

Il virus sarebbe stato diffuso usando inizialmente un account su Easynews.com, un Internet Service Provider di Phoenix, Arizona.



L'account sarebbe stato creato lunedì scorso usando una carta di credito rubata.



Per attivare l'account sarebbe stato utilizzato un computer di proprietà di un ignaro cittadino canadese del British Columbia, infettato da una precedente versione del virus Sobig:

A computer in British Columbia was apparently used to create the account. Experts said the computer belongs to an innocent home user who was hit by a previous version of the virus that allowed the clandestine programmer to seize control of the computer. That makes catching the writer of the virus more difficult, experts said.
