[Tech] Il worm virus Sobig.F potrebbe avere infettato 20 milioni di computer in Cina

Secondo Beijing Rising Technology, una società cinese che si occupa di sicurezza su Internet, Sobig.F potrebbe avere colpito il 30% dei 68 milioni di utenti Internet cinesi.



Le cause principali di questo disastro sarebbero la scarsa conoscenza dei computer e di Internet da parte della maggioranza degli utenti cinesi e il mancato utilizzo di firewall e programmi antivirus:

China's growing online population has been an easy prey to the virus, which has exploited a low level of awareness and a widespread absence of efficient anti-virus software to infect computers across the country.



"We've never seen anything like it," said Hao Ting, a spokeswoman for Beijing Rising Technology, an Internet security company, on Saturday.



"People, who may not be totally aware of the danger, simply open their email and don't discover it's a virus until it's too late," she said.
